The City of Brea in Orange County, California and the Brea War Memorial Advisory Committee (W-MAC) announces a commission for a War Memorial to be located within Brea’s Civic & Cultural Center. The Memorial will honor the heroism and dedication of past and future citizens of Brea who have given their lives for America.

All RFQ submissions must be received in the office of Fine Arts Services by January 31, 2011

Sen. Lois Wolk is encouraging all interested artists living in the 5th Senate District (includes Yolo county) to submit their artwork to be exhibited at an upcoming art exhibit at the State Capitol and included in the exhibit's catalogue.

Natsoulas Gallery will have an opening for The Art of Painting in the 21st Century
this Friday, March 5th. They will host a part on Saturday night (March 6) where
Nancy Ostrovsky will give a performance of jazz painting. Paintings and art
from Davis and surrounding schools and colleges will be exhibited throughout
downtown Davis. I interviewed John Natsoulas and Nancy Ostrovsky about this event,
This interviw will be re-broadcast Thurs, March 5 at 4 pm on kdrt. Have a happy and inspiring weekend!
