"The LPFM Radio Roundup" was held Saturday & Sunday, October 8 & 9 on the UC Davis campus.  The event was co-sponsered by KPFA, Berkeley; KDVS, Davis; and the Technocultural Studies Department of UC Davis. The Roundup was the first independent regional conference organized to bring together the newly formed low power radio stations of California and Oregon.
