The Golden Road's annual exusion into the far reaches of the Arabian desert. The K-Dirt Magic Carpet sails on a journey through the shifting sands, the desert winds & shining stars with music from Miles Davis, Santana and the Grateful Dead all cosmically swirled together in harmony. One of the centerpieces of this broadcast is a nice dose of Santana's epic jazz/rock masterpiece, "Caravanserai"...a groundbreaking album by one of Northern California's finest. You will also be treated to a glorious version of the Dead's "Dark Star" from the Fillmore East in 1970 along with some selected sounds from their highly creative studio record, "Blues For Allah".
