I hear you Rus ... they were soooo much fun to listen to and enjoy and all of us at the station miss them very much. Alas we are a totally volunteer radio station and it's not like we could give them buckets of money and time to keep them here : ) As you can imagine with their talent their lives are busy and they had to say goodbye. Wow, I grew up listening to Cactus Pete in and around Sacramento,and Reno, and it was a real thrill to here his voice again, boy could he play! Guys like him and his music should never be forgotten. Look forward to having him on the show to share his music past, and find out what's up with him. Is he still playing? I live way out of the area and miss good ole country.
Saw Mae sing Saturday is Sacto and it was a real treat. She's better than alot of the stuff she airs with Tyler.Did you know that she was signing in Tennesse on national television? Mae, c'mon, your too modest, and you look as good as you sound. Keep up the good work, appreciate the show. Rucky.

Hi Rus,
KDRT is all-volunteer. May and Tyler had new jobs and other commitments and chose to leave their show. We were very sad to see them go.
