KDRT Benefit Concert: Kick Up Your Heels for the End of Winter!

For the third year running, Davis Media Access and the Davis Odd Fellows are proud to present our winter benefit concerts for KDRT-- a great way to help chase away the winter blues and to highlight the talents of local musicians. Join us at the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second Street, Davis, 6:30-10pm for a night of good tunes and good spirits celebrating community radio.
As of 4pm, please purchase tickets at the door.
Coming Sat. March 13th:
The West Nile Ramblers celebrate the release of their debut CD "Honkabilly Western Garage", featuring Alex Roth,
guitar & vocals and Andy Lentz, fiddle & vocals (both also from The Mad Cow String Band); Adam Hancock, guitar, ukelele & vocals, and Mark Eagleton, upright bass (both also from The Bottom Dwellers); and Bart van der Zeeuw on drums, percussion and whistle (from Bottom Dwellers & Family). http://www.myspace.com/thewestnileramblers
Opening with Aesthetic Cling, Davis' premier Jug Band. "Aesthetic Cling is a jug band that mixes traditional blues, folk, and old time music in a stew with original songs, and ageless rock and roll".

Featuring Wayne Hagen from Davis (KDRT host) on multi-jug, kazoo and mandolin, Julio (Inglasses) Guerra from Columbia on lead multi-guitars, Banjo Andy Fahrenwald from Sutter Creek, and front man Forest (the Pharaoh of Fiddletown) Flanigan, on vocals, rhythm guitar, ukulele, megaphone & kazoo.
