Layin' It Down on the Steel

Music

Church-house moans, field hollers, banjo bangin', folk lyric songsters, fiddle scratchers, jug blowers, foot stompers, hokum hits, steel guitar rags, minstrelsy, radio recordings, sanctified souls, ring dancers, animal imitations, one man bands, anomalies of American "folk" music, fife and drum, proto-hip-hop, strange ballads, didley bows, field recordings and the lost old real America.

Any Blues

Dear Anonymous....

I play the REAL blues about every 4th week on THE GRAPEVINE. As luck would have it, this Thursday, September 3rd, is the right time (ba-doo-hey).

As for Bredan's show, he lit out for the great Mississippi region. Who knows when he will return.

KDRT is looking for someone that can host a REAL blues show. The only requirement would be a weekly be there and a thorough blues collection. Give me a call in the studio tomorrow night if'n you wanna talk.
