KDRT broadcasts remotely from the UC Davis quad during Mother's Day Weekend

This is the second annual remote broadcast from the Whole Earth Festival, held on the UC Davis campus every Mother's Day Weekend.  In what we hope becomes a standing tradition, we broadcast much of the music from the festival, as well as many interviews with festival-goers.  This year was especially excellent, with some amazing interviews live from our booth.  In no particular order we'd like to thank the following people without whom, quite literally, we could not have pulled this off:

Mark Chang, Roving Reporter and Chief KDRT Whole Earth Engineer

Nik Joshi, KDRT internet streaming coordinator & volunteer programmer

Micheal Erickson, WEF Logistics Guru

Jesse Drew and Don Lee, Technocultural Studies

Danielle Fodor, Anne Evans, Amy Kasameyer, Gregory D'Elia, Karl Mogel, Kenji Yamada, Gitane (Heart to Heart), Brian Martinez, Jim and Diane Buchanan, Mattie & Sura (TeenTalk), Adrienne & Sabrina (The Inferno), Les Light:  all of whom were volunteer hosts and programmers that, especially during the windy moments, held down the fort!

The field mixer, a VTR to record the broadcast, and Mark's homemade roving reporter "call box" indicating a report is coming in! Oh, also an mp3 player used until we got the Main Stage hooked up...
