\\"Ubuntu 12.04 and Unity\; What is it all about?\\"
Philip Ballew\, Head of Ubuntu Youth
This talk will focus on Ubuntu 12.04 (\\"Precise Pangolin\\")\, the
latest release of the Canonical Ltd.'s Linux-based operating system
(and also the most recent \\"LTS\\"\, or \\"Long Term Support\\"\, release)\,
and Unity\, Canonical's graphical shell -- well-suited for netbooks
and tablets -- for the GNOME desktop environment.
Specifically\, this talk will cover some of the ways that you
can customize Unity.

Philip Ballew is an Ubuntu member\, head of Ubuntu Youth\, and works
heavily in the Ubuntu Power User Community that helps customize Unity\,
Ubuntu's new GUI.

This fundraiser will be held June 3\, 3\:00 p.m. to 6\:00 p.m. at Butler Farm\, located at 28360 County Road 23\, Madison. Tickets are $30. Children 6 or older are $10.
Bees\, Berries &\; Bouquets participants will learn about bees\, our important pollinators\, while enjoying strawberry treats\, ice cream\, lemonade\, Yolo County wines and several varieties of honey. Walking tours of the Butler Farm will also be available.
“We celebrate spring each year by enjoying a Sunday afternoon in the country\,” said Michele Clark\, Yolo Land Trust Executive Director. “Come see land conservation in action at the Butler Farm.”
Bees\, Berries &\; Bouquets is hosted by Lew and Sheana Butler who placed Butler Farm under a conservation easement with Yolo Land Trust in 2006. “Sheana and I have been supporters of the Yolo Land Trust for many years\,” said Lew Butler. “I am delighted to invite the community to our farm to celebrate the good works of the Yolo Land Trust.”
