&lt;p&gt;Davis, CA, February 1, 2012 – The Davis Live Music Collective is proud to&lt;br /&gt;
present one of the nation&#039;s most important young songwriters Jolie Holland&lt;br /&gt;
along with supporting artist Sea of Bees. This is the music collective’s&lt;br /&gt;
inaugural event and will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall in Davis, Tuesday,&lt;br /&gt;
February 21st.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Jolie Holland is an esteemed Shortlist Prize nominated musician who counts&lt;br /&gt;
Tom Waits and ANTI- label mate Sage Francis among her most outspoken fans.&lt;br /&gt;
She has shared some of the nation’s biggest stages with artists like The&lt;br /&gt;
Jayhawks, Mavis Staples, She &amp;amp; Him, Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio), David Gray&lt;br /&gt;
and Chris Isaak. Holland is a unique and important voice in music who blends&lt;br /&gt;
blues, folk, gospel, jazz and seventies-era rock into truly beautiful and&lt;br /&gt;
unique songs unmistakably her own.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Recently gaining national praise on NPR’s All Songs Considered as a Top 10&lt;br /&gt;
pick, Sea of Bees has been releasing albums on Davis, California’s locally&lt;br /&gt;
owned Crossbill Records since 2009. The musical project of accomplished&lt;br /&gt;
multi-instrumentalist and self-described freak-folk singer/songwriter Julie&lt;/p&gt;
